Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Golden, Colorado. This position involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted standards, focusing on assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. The role requires providing health education, counseling, and support to promote patient well-being, as well as documenting clinical activities in compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, variable mids/night shifts, 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice; BLS (American Heart Association); ACLS (American Heart Association); PALS (American Heart Association); TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course); ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course); NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale); 1+ year of nursing experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as a Registered Nurse
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: Performs clinical nursing functions, delegates medical procedures, monitors therapy plans, participates in health data assessment, and ensures documentation is completed according to hospital and regulatory standards. May be required to be placed on-call and float to other departments within scope and competency.
