Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Floor

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (MS) units is needed for a facility located in Farmington, New Mexico. This role involves providing care to geriatric and adult patient populations within a Nephrology and Medical Surgical unit. The position offers an opportunity to work nights at a busy trauma level III center that serves a diverse regional patient population.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ADN degree; minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in medical surgical settings and nephrology nursing; location in the United States; minimum of 1 year of experience, preferred 2 years
• Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse experience and nephrology-specific experience are advantageous but not required
• Unit Profile: Nephrology/Medical Surgical unit with 24 beds; patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:6; equipment includes VS machines, bladder scanners, lifts, thermal imaging devices, IV pumps/tubes
• Additional Information: Observation unit experience is a plus; must have experience with ESRD, Peritoneal Dialysis, and Hemodialysis treatments
