Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Neurology Floor

Job Summary:
This is a Medical Surgical Neurology Floor Nurse position located in Des Moines, Iowa. The role involves providing specialized nursing care on a neurology-intensive unit, with shift hours spanning from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., every other weekend, and other hours as needed. The position offers opportunities to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, supporting patient recovery and neurological health.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with every other weekend or after-hours coverage as required, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Bachelor`s Degree in Nursing, one year of clinical experience in Neurology or Medical Surgical Nursing, location in the United States, and current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications such as ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) or TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) are a plus.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Candidates will be supporting a Medical Surgical Neurology unit, providing comprehensive nursing care to neurology patients, adhering to hospital protocols, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
