Licensed Practical Nurse / Long Term Care

Job Summary:
Long Term Care Nurse Practitioner position available in West Union, Iowa. This clinical role involves providing care in a post-acute setting with a focus on long-term patient management. The position features night shifts and requires a dedicated healthcare professional to support patient needs during overnight hours.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, Friday through Sunday, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing), valid license to submit, and BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification; minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in long-term care or post-acute settings (not specified)
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: No on-call or callback available. A $500 fee will be billed if the clinician backs out or quits with less than a 14-day notice. If GSS housing is used, local rates apply. The work week is Sunday through Saturday. The institution utilizes a computerized charting system, with additional unspecified electronic systems in use. The shift involves night hours with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/03/2026.
