Registered Nurse / Telemetry

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical/Surgical Telemetry at a healthcare organization in Norwich, CT. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within the tele/PCU/ICU float pool, with a focus on stroke and telemetry patients. The role requires at least three years of relevant experience, with competencies in ACLS, NIHSS, and stroke protocols.

Job Details:

• Location: Norwich, CT
• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week (3-12 hour shifts)
• Required Qualifications: RN license, at least 3 years of experience in telemetry, PCU, or ICU float pool, ACLS certification, NIHSS certification, stroke experience, and Telemetry experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with stroke protocols and telemedicine technologies
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Additional Information: Candidates must be flexible regarding shift cancellations, with up to three cancellations permitted per contract. Any sick calls must be made up within the scheduled period.
