Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Florence, Alabama. The role involves providing high-quality care in a dedicated Labor and Delivery unit within a healthcare facility. The RN will be responsible for supporting patients through labor, delivery, and postpartum care, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the birthing process.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse (RN) license; at least 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery; certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Advanced Life Support-Obstetrics (ALS-OB), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM), and Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with fetal monitoring and assessment, emergency response, postpartum care, and time management.
• Unit Information: The unit has 9 beds with patient ratios of 1:1, serving adult obstetric patients. Equipment includes electronic fetal heart monitoring devices, and the electronic health record system used includes Centricity and Meditech.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be adaptable, team players with strong communication skills, attention to detail, stamina, and empathy. The role requires a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a Labor and Delivery setting.
