Registered Nurse / Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Nurse located in Detroit, Michigan. This role involves providing leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care within the Cardiac Cath Lab. The Nurse utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and education for both patients and their families. Effective communication of pertinent patient information to the healthcare team is essential.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week. Start date: 07/28/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: - Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. - Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. - Minimum 2 years cardiology experience with experience interpreting rhythms. - BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification. - Current active Michigan RN license.
  • Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with cardiac testing.
  • Additional Information:
    Performs cardiac stress tests in the Cardiac Non-invasive Laboratory. Expect to complete 4-8 stress tests per shift. This role requires clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the department. The ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services and effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel is essential.
