Registered Nurse / Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Summary
The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory setting. This position involves planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs, as well as managing care of patients undergoing minimally invasive procedures such as LHC and PCI. The role requires the ability to function as an intra procedural RN, administer medications, document care, and support cardiac and neuro diagnostic and interventional procedures. This position is located in Hackensack, New Jersey.

Job Details

  • Schedule: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, rotating shift, 36 hours per week, for a duration of 13 weeks.
  • Required Qualifications: ASN degree, New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, ACLS certification from the American Heart Association, minimum of 0 years` experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: BSN degree, critical care experience highly preferred, prior experience with EPIC and Sensis clinical systems, vascular and/or neuro diagnostic and intervention experience, familiarity with equipment such as IABP, Impella, shockwave, and atherectomy devices.
  • Skills: CCL, CATH LAB RN
  • Additional Information: Must be able to cover on-call duties for the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, supporting cardiac procedures outside regular hours and weekends as needed, approximately every 5 weeks depending on staffing demands. Minimal coverage may include supporting cardiac procedures off hours and on weekends.
