Registered Nurse / Long Term Care

Job Summary:
Long Term Care (LTC) Nurse in Lewiston, Maine. This position involves partnering with residents and care teams to deliver comprehensive care in a specialized unit, supporting residents with dementia, conducting short-term rehabilitation, and providing long-term care. The role requires flexibility to float between units and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Associates in Nursing; valid State of Maine or compact Registered Nurse (RN) license; 0 to 3 years of previous RN experience; proficiency in medical terminology preferred; strong teamwork and communication skills required; flexibility to work 24 hours/day, 7 days/week; ability to float to other units as needed; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
• Additional Information: Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered. Please do not submit. Up to 16 hours of orientation are unpaid. The organization has the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract. Candidates must reside outside of a 50-mile radius of the facility.
