Registered Nurse / Behavioral Health

Job Summary:
The Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Elko, Nevada. This role involves providing inpatient behavioral health nursing care in a facility that specializes in mental health and psychiatric services. The position offers an opportunity to work within a dedicated unit serving adult patients, contributing to a team focused on delivering quality mental health treatment and support.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license and active Nevada RN license at the time of submittal, BLS certification. Minimum of 1 year inpatient behavioral health experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Handle with Care certification preferred.
• Additional Information:
  • Float requirements: Yes, RN may be floated to other departments.
  • Unit Information:
    • Number of beds: 16
    • Patient ratios: 1/4
    • Equipment: Vitals Machine, Electronic Medical Administration Record (EMAR), Omnicell
    • Electronic Health Record (EHR): Med Host
  • Position is for a contractor replacement starting on 08/10/2026.
