Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) in Golden, Colorado. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while providing health education, counseling, and support through therapy and treatment. The position requires flexible clinical skills and adherence to facility standards, with opportunities to float to other departments within scope of competency.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/10/2026
- Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree of Nursing (Preferred: ASN), current RN license in the state of practice, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS certification, 1+ years of experience, Colorado or Compact RN license, ability to perform health assessment, nursing, health teaching, health counseling, therapy, and treatment planning
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as a Registered Nurse
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: The role involves executing clinical duties in an Intermediate Care Unit setting, including care documentation, resource utilization, delegation, supervision, and consultation, with potential on-call responsibilities
