Registered Nurse / Infusion

Job Summary:
The infusion specialty professional will work in a clinical setting located in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves providing infusion services on a 36-hour schedule, primarily during daytime hours, within a dedicated oncology infusion unit. The position focuses on delivering complex treatment regimens and assessing patient status in a fast-paced hematology-oncology environment.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • Oncology infusion experience in an academic medical center (AMC)
  • Outpatient infusion experience of at least 1 year
  • Traveler experience of at least 1 year
  • Strong intravenous (IV) and comprehensive patient assessment skills
  • Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) certification required
  • Education: Relevant nursing degree or certification as mandated by the organization
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with complex gastrointestinal regimens
• Additional Information:
  • Unit Description: Yawkey 8E is a sixty bed/chair infusion unit within the Division of Hematology-Oncology. The role involves direct patient care for oncology patients receiving infusion therapies.
