Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical Rehabilitation at a healthcare facility in Winchester, Tennessee. This role involves providing comprehensive inpatient rehabilitative nursing care to adult and geriatric patients, managing medical conditions such as stroke, Parkinsons disease, post-cardiac surgery, orthopedic surgery recovery, traumatic brain injury, and multi-trauma cases. The position supports patients` recovery to gain strength and independence, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Job Details:

• Location: Winchester, Tennessee
• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor
• Shift Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
• Start Date: 08/03/2026
• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ASN or BSN degree; current RN licensure in Tennessee; minimum 1+ year of hospital experience in medical-surgical units or related fields; candidates must be 60 miles or greater from the facility location to be considered
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing patients with neurological, orthopedic, cardiac, or trauma-related diagnoses; strong assessment and collaboration skills; motivational and encouraging personality to support patient recovery
• Additional Information: Inpatient rehab is an acute care unit where patients are managed medically but are stable enough to participate in therapy. The unit utilizes equipment such as Baxter IV pumps, Masimo vitals machines, Kangaroo TF pumps, and bladder scanners. The electronic health record system used is Meditech. The unit features 12 beds with an average patient ratio of 3-5:1.
• Float: Float rotation may be required rarely, if ever.
