Job Summary
A Nursing Professional specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is sought for a facility in Winchester, Virginia. This position involves providing pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care to patients recovering from anesthesia, with a focus on safety, assessment, and stabilization. The role requires a dedicated RN with extensive experience in PACU settings, capable of working independently within a fast-paced environment to ensure patient well-being.

Job Details

  • Location: Winchester, Virginia
  • Schedule: Day shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 08/24/2026
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Virginia State License or Compact License, at least 2 years of experience in Pre-Operative, Post-Operative, and PACU nursing, Epic electronic medical record (EMR) proficiency, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with titrating drips, TAVR, and procedural care across cardiac and other specialties
  • Float: Float rotation may be required to sister units as needed for staffing support
  • Additional Information: This position involves working in an on-campus surgery center with a 16-bed unit serving geriatrics and other patient populations. The role includes providing care during various shifts, participating in holiday coverage, and adhering to the facilitys dress code. The unit offers a dynamic environment, focusing on high-quality patient care and teamwork.
