Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor

Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Medical (ICU MEDICAL) West Burlington, IA. This position involves delivering high-quality critical care to diverse patient populations, including geriatric, medical/surgical, adult, telemetry, and psychiatric patients. The role requires expertise in Epic electronic medical records and the ability to float between units as needed. The position offers a flexible schedule with a 12-hour shift, a 36-hour workweek, and weekend rotation responsibilities.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with weekend rotation requirements.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in nursing, appropriate educational background, licensure in the state, and Epic electronic medical records experience within the last 12 months. No minimum years of experience required.
• Additional Information: The Medical Care Unit for our facility is a unit that has less acute patients that may just be awaiting placement to a long-term care facility. They may be a variety of medical diagnoses. The unit is shared with Inpatient Rehabilitation, and nurses may need to float between the two units. Inpatient Rehabilitation is a designated unit for intense rehab services. Telemetry experience is preferred. Delivers care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members. While not part of a regular call rotation, occasional on-call duties may be required, with response expected within one hour.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
