Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary:
An Operating Room (OR) nurse position is available in Vermont. The role involves working in a healthcare facility with responsibilities related to perioperative patient care. The position offers rotating shifts with options for different shift lengths, including 10-hour and 8-hour schedules, and requires on-call availability.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, including day and evening schedules, with options for 10-hour shifts (7:00am-5:30pm or 8:00am-6:30pm) or 8-hour shifts (7:00am-3:30pm, 9:00am-5:30pm, 10:00am-6:30pm). The shift hours total 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid operating room nursing certification, graduation from an approved nursing program, current nursing license in the state of Vermont, and at least 1 year of relevant OR nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with perioperative patient management and familiarity with hospital protocols.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The position involves working during day and evening hours with on-call duties once a week and every fifth weekend. The work environment requires adherence to all hospital policies and procedures.
