Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse Fairfield, Iowa. This full-time position involves providing comprehensive patient care within a hospital emergency department setting. The role includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs while guiding ancillary personnel and ensuring adherence to professional nursing standards.

Job Details:

• Shift: Rotating shift, with 12-hour night shifts (6:00 PM 6:30 AM), scheduled for three nights per week. The schedule includes every other weekend and rotating holidays.
• Hours: Minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with current Iowa registered nurse license; certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC; any additional experience is preferred but not required.
• Position Urgency: Normal.
• Location: 2000 South Main Street, Fairfield, Iowa, 52556.
• Start Date: 08/17/2026.
• Additional Information: Candidates must meet all employment and health requirements prior to start, including immunizations, background checks, licensure verification, and drug screening. Effective communication of employment and health documentation within five business days of contract start is essential.
