Registered Nurse / Labor And Delivery Department

Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Rochester, Michigan. This role involves providing leadership in the coordination and delivery of compassionate patient care within the labor and delivery department. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team and participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals to ensure smooth care delivery.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, working every weekend. Minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
  • At least 2 years of recent inpatient Labor & Delivery experience.
  • NRP certification.
  • BLS certification.
  • OBIX experience.
  • Epic experience.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Additional Information:
  • Up to one week of requested time off (RTO) at the start of employment is permissible.
