Registered Nurse / Labor And Delivery Department

Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Rochester, Michigan. This role involves providing leadership in the coordination and delivery of compassionate, high-quality patient care within the labor and delivery unit. Utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, the nurse will delegate tasks, supervise care, and educate patients and their families. Effective communication with the healthcare team to ensure patient goals are met is essential.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend shift. Minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing, at least 2 years of recent inpatient Labor & Delivery experience, NRP certification, BLS certification, OBIX experience, and Epic experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Skills: Clinical knowledge, analytical abilities, nursing care plan formulation, professional nursing services, and effective communication.
• Additional Information: Candidates should meet the minimum qualifications listed for clinical competency and communication skills. The position requires working every other weekend and shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
