Operating Room Tech / Certified Operating Room Tech

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Certified Operating Room Technician for a role located in Windsor, Vermont. This position involves working in a fast-paced surgical environment, requiring proficiency in various procedural specialties. The role is essential for supporting surgical teams and ensuring smooth procedural workflows.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid certification as a Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA preferred; NCCT not accepted), current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, at least 3 years of current CST experience, travel experience, own vehicle, and perm address must be included in profile.
• Specialties and Procedures: Must be proficient in General Surgery, Urology, Podiatry, Ophthalmology (cataractsmust be able to load lenses, oculoplastics), GI/endoscopy specimen capture, scope reprocessing, and capable of scrub roles in these areas.
• Additional Requirements: First-time travelers considered, with a non-negotiable requirement to have a minimum of three years CST experience and travel experience. Must be able to work independently and take call.
• Travel and Scheduling: No 10 or 12-hour shifts; only 8-hour shifts are available. Must be able to work five shifts per week, including holiday coverage if needed.
• Other Notes: Traveler must have their own vehicle, and all scheduling requests should be made at the time of submission. Any/all scheduled time off or RTO must be included in profile. The facility enforces a three-strike rule for call-offs, with potential contract termination after three infractions.
