Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Bakersfield, California. The role involves delivering high-quality, coordinated nursing care to critically ill patients, supervising and directing nursing staff, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The position requires applying professional judgment and critical thinking to ensure patient safety and well-being.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift with a 12-hour shift duration, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor`s Degree in Nursing (BSN); acute care facility experience; Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; AHA-ACLS certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Additional Information: The nurse will be responsible for gathering relevant patient health data, analyzing assessments, developing and implementing care plans, evaluating patient progress, and participating in discharge planning. Responsibilities also include delegating duties, providing patient and family education, and ensuring a safe healing environment.
