Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse opportunity available in Santa Rosa, California. This position involves working day shifts of 12 hours, with an expected start date of August 10, 2026. The role primarily requires recent hospital experience with a focus on Level II trauma, general medical, cardiac, stroke, pediatrics, psych, and trauma patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: - Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, California license. - Education: Valid California license in hand. - Experience: Minimum of 2 years hospital experience, including trauma level II, with grossing experience as a hard stop. - Location: California-based. - Additional: Strong skills in emergency department care, dysrhythmia interpretation, PPE/Isolation precautions, IV management, triage, and trauma support.
• Preferred Qualifications: TNCC certification preferred, but can be obtained prior to start. Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• Additional Information:
  • Travel experience is not required but candidates should be aware that float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals may be required.
  • Must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
  • References: Two references covering at least one year (or 6 months for CNAs) within the past three years are required.
  • Valid SSN, DOB, and RTO information must be included at submission.
  • Travelers are responsible for finding housing options in the area.
