Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is needed at a healthcare organization in Kennewick, Washington. The position involves providing specialized patient care in a Medical ICU setting with a focus on sepsis, respiratory issues, and some cardiac and trauma cases. This role offers an opportunity to work in a modern facility that serves a diverse patient population, with the schedule composed of 12-hour days.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, at least 1 year of experience in ICU nursing, ACLS certification, BLS certification, and ability to work in the United States.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Medical ICU, TNCC certification.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The ICU unit has 14 beds with patient ratios of 1:2 and occasionally utilizes equipment like intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP). Candidates should enjoy teamwork and accountability to best practices. The unit cares for adult patients, including those with sepsis, respiratory issues, cardiac, and trauma conditions.
