Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary:
The operating room (OR) nurse position is based in Hartford, Connecticut. This role involves circulating and/or scrubbing for total joint and spine surgeries. The ideal candidate will have experience in the OR setting, with a focus on spine procedures, and will be available for a schedule that includes day shifts, call, and weekend coverage.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, at least 1 year of operating room experience, must be able to circulate and/or scrub for total joint and spine cases, and be available for day shifts, weekday and weekend call coverage.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience specifically with spine surgeries and handling call requirements.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The position involves working with specialized surgical teams in a fast-paced environment. Call responsibilities include weekday evening coverage and a weekend shift once per month, with 24-hour coverage on weekends. Scheduling flexibility is preferred to accommodate multiple shift options.
