Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit Float

Job Summary:
The ICU Float registered nurse position is located in Tallahassee, Florida. This role involves providing patient care across multiple intensive care units and intermediate care units within a trauma level 2 teaching facility that is a designated comprehensive stroke center and chest pain center. The RN will be responsible for floating to all ICU and IMCU units, with every other weekend shift required. The position offers a challenging and rewarding environment focused on critical care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Florida license or compact license; BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications; at least 2 years of ICU experience; orientation sessions every Monday; EPIC training required during the second half of the day at orientation, with testing opportunities available.
• Preferred Qualifications: CCRN certification is preferred.
• Additional Information: Travelers will float to all ICU and IMCU units. There are no block scheduling restrictions, holiday RTO limitations, or more than 7 consecutive days of RTO. Orientation occurs every Monday, and IVS will offer to those with 4 days or less of RTO. No prior travel experience is required.
