Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse (RN) specializing in Emergency Room care is needed for a seven-week assignment starting on August 24, 2026. The position involves night shifts, with a schedule of 12 hours per shift and a minimum of 48 hours per week. The role requires experienced registered nurses with prior travel experience, working in a trauma level 1 or 2 facility, and holding active VA or Compact licenses.

Job Details:

• Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) Nights, 12 hours per shift, 48 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/24/2026
• Location: Lynville, Virginia
• Required Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of Emergency Department experience in a similar-sized emergency room with trauma level 1 or 2 designation
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certifications required
  • Trauma Certification (ATCN, TNCC, ATLC) preferred
  • Prior Cerner experience strongly preferred
  • Active VA (Virginia) or Compact license required at the time of submission
  • All RTO (Request for Time Off) must be included in the submission packet
  • IVS (Interviews) to manager for approval
  • The organization can cancel assignments due to census up to 36 hours prior
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous travel experience in emergency care settings
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift; minimum of 48 hours per week
• Additional Information:
  • This assignment is scheduled for 7 weeks only, ending on or around October 10, 2026
  • Must work every other weekend
