Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) in Lynchburg, Virginia. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a Level 2 trauma ED environment. The assignment is scheduled for nights and requires prior travel experience, with a commitment of 36 hours per week for a duration of eight weeks starting August 24, 2026.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience in a similar size ED and trauma level 2 or 1 experience required
  • Active Virginia or Compact state license required at the time of submission
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certifications required
  • Prior Cerner electronic health record experience strongly preferred
  • All required training and certifications (RTO documentation) must be included at submission
  • Travel experience required for all center positions
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Trauma Certification (such as ATCN, TNCC, or ATLC)
• Additional Information:
  • Assignments end on Saturday; weekends required every other week
  • Locals within 60 miles are not accepted for this position
  • IVS approval needed from the manager
  • Client reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours prior to the start date due to census fluctuations
