Registered Nurse / Home Healthcare

Job Summary:
This opportunity is for a Home Health Registered Nurse in Newton, Massachusetts. The position involves assessing patient conditions, implementing care plans, and providing ongoing education and support to patients and their families. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment. The role includes performing admission processes and case management responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and community health standards.

Job Details:

• Location: Newton, Massachusetts
• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Candidates must have at least 1 year of Certified Home Care experience and 1 year of Case Management experience within a certified home health agency. BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certifications are required. Experience with EMR systems such as Epic and Oasis is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Level experience and teaching hospital experience are noted but not mandatory. Ability to travel to cases as assigned and experience with charge duties are advantageous.
• Additional Information: Weekend rotations are scheduled once every 6 weeks. The candidate must be capable of traveling and working independently within the community health environment. The start date is contingent on credentialing clearance; if not cleared by the posted start date, a rescheduled start will be necessary.
