Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nursing position in a healthcare facility located in Round Rock, Texas. This contracted role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a busy Emergency Department. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing patients with diverse conditions, including trauma, stroke, STEMI, and moderate sedation, while adhering to departmental protocols and safety standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN licensure, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course); 2 years of ER nursing experience; location in Texas; ability to start by 08/10/2026
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma, stroke, STEMI procedures; high energy personality and ability to stay busy; experience with EMR systems such as Meditech
• Additional Information: The unit has 35 beds with a patient ratio of 4:1 or 3:1. The staff includes RN, PCT, Medic, and US personnel scheduled across day, mid, and night shifts. Uniform dress code features navy scrubs for RNs and tan tops with black bottoms for PCTs. Night shift staff will rotate weekends (4 weekends in 4 weeks). The department is equipped with modern technology and maintains a high standard of patient care, seeking energetic professionals eager to join a dynamic team.
