Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Walnut Creek, California. This role involves providing expert nursing care during labor, delivery, and postpartum, with a focus on high-risk pregnancies. The position requires autonomous practice, strong fetal assessment skills, and the ability to perform vaginal examinations. The shift is scheduled for nights, with flexibility for float rotation.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: CA licensure, 2+ years of recent strong Labor and Delivery (L&D) experience, ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications, fetal assessment skills, must be autonomous and able to perform vaginal exams, ability to manage high-risk pregnancies.
- Preferred Qualifications: EPIC electronic medical record experience, 3+ years of recent strong L&D experience, travel experience.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: RNs circulate in the operating room but do not scrub. IVS will review and manager will offer the position.
