Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary:
The Operating Room (OR) Nurse position is based in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This role involves providing surgical nursing care in the OR setting, following facility protocols, and ensuring patient safety from pre-surgical preparation through recovery. The position requires adherence to hospital standards and collaboration with the surgical team.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Evening shifts, with 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Two years current OR RN experience, scrub and circulate experience required, Massachusetts RN license, active American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, active American Heart Association or American Red Cross Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred, permit address must be included with profile, traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment, all scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission, RTO requests must be noted and verified at upload, maximum of 5 days of RTO will be accepted.
• Preferred Qualifications: CNOR certification preferred
• Additional Information: Candidate must submit a skills checklist for operating room circulate and scrub roles, current within 1 year; provide a supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment. No more than five days of RTO are accepted; all RTO requests should be included in profile at submittal.
