Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse position in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. This role involves providing competent clinical nursing care in a hospital setting, coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process. The successful candidate will join a team dedicated to high-quality patient outcomes and interdisciplinary collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of Nursing; licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from AHA or ARC; at least 1 year of nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Additional Information: The role includes responsibilities such as patient assessment, care planning, patient education, point of care testing, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Emphasis is on complex patient care, safety, discharge planning, and adhering to healthcare standards and regulatory compliance.
