Operating Room Tech / Certified Operating Room Tech

Job Summary:
Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This role involves providing specialized perioperative support within a facility that requires proficiency in various surgical procedures. The candidate must be able to work independently, precept, and meet strict credentialing and experience requirements. The position offers evenings shifts with a focus on urgent and elective surgical cases.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Evenings, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification, NBSTSA credentialed, current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, proficient in general, gynecology, vascular, thoracic, orthopedic (including total joints), neuro (head and spine), and trauma procedures. At least 5 years of current Operating Room Technologist experience is required. Travel experience is non-negotiable, and the candidate must have their own vehicle.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with C-Sections, ENT, plastics, and DaVinci Robot procedures.
• Additional Information: Must have two supervisory signed references from within the past two years. Any/All requested time off (RTO) must be included in the profile at submission. Candidates are expected to work five 8-hour shifts per week with no flexible shifts available. Travel candidates only; no local residents within 50 miles of the facility will be considered.
