Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Fort Worth, TX. This role requires strong neuro experience, with a primary focus on neuro surgical procedures, including craniotomies, spine surgeries, and robotic-assisted surgeries. The position involves working in a high-volume, fast-paced acute care environment with a collaborative team dedicated to patient care excellence.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, start date on 07/27/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid Texas RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIH required; 2+ years of OR experience in a hospital setting; neuro surgery experience; ability to float as needed
• Preferred Qualifications: Robotic experience (Da Vinci XI, Globus, Mako), Meditech experience
• Patient Experience: Must be friendly and compassionate with patients
• Unit Details:
  • Location: Fort Worth, TX
  • Unit: Surgery with 17 beds, includes CVOR and transplant, not a trauma level center
  • Procedures: General, neuro, orthopedics, robotic, Urology, plastic surgery, heart, and transplants
  • Staffing: 1-2 surgical technicians per case, patient ratio 1:1 for OR nursing
  • Equipment: Da Vinci XI robotic system, microscopes, usual OR equipment
  • Documentation system: Meditech
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Dress Code: Facility provides scrubs; no gel or artificial nails; neat, clean hair; body art covered; visible piercings other than ears prohibited
