Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Emergency Room (ER) located in Brunswick, Maine. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care within a busy ED environment. The RN will support patient assessments, stabilize critically ill patients, and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver efficient emergency services.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse (RN) license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) or MOAB (Management of Aggressive Behavior), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification, 4-5 years of clinical experience, current licensure in the state of Maine
• Number of Openings: 1
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours weekly
• Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse experience, previous ER experience, strong decision-making skills, excellent communication skills
• Additional Information: Candidates should have experience working in a fast-paced emergency environment, comfortable managing multiple patients simultaneously, and capable of working independently and within a team. The unit is equipped with electronic medical records (EMR) using Epic.
