Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse role in Lodi, California. This outpatient procedure unit position involves delivering coordinated nursing care within the surgical environment. The role includes supervising nursing staff, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring patient safety and quality care during perioperative procedures. The position is represented by CNA.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts with 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per AH policy; 1 year of experience in operating room or perioperative care; Bachelor`s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Outpatient procedure unit experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in perioperative nursing, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), or endoscopy (endoscopy RN).
• Additional Information: The role involves collecting relevant patient health data, developing and implementing care plans, evaluating patient outcomes, and participating in discharge planning. Delegation and coordination of duties among healthcare team members are essential.
