Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse position is based in Morristown, New Jersey. This role involves providing advanced patient care within a high acuity surgical and medical surgical step-down unit. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing comprehensive assessments, executing clinical skills, documenting care, and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction throughout the perioperative process.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Associates or Bachelor`s Degree (preferred); 1 year ICU experience required; valid RN license required; BLS required; ACLS required
• Preferred Qualifications: None listed
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The role demands demonstrating assessment skills, clinical expertise, proper documentation, professionalism, patient-centered care, safety adherence, unit-specific knowledge for surgical patients, and active patient and family education. The RN will support pre-admission testing procedures, evaluate orders, and prioritize patient care based on changing needs. This position is suitable for candidates with ICU experience seeking a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
