Registered Nurse / Ambulatory Care Medical Surgical Skilled

Job Summary:
The Ambulatory Care Medical Surgical Skilled Professional is responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients in an outpatient setting. This role involves performing assessments, implementing personalized care plans, and educating patients and their families to promote health and recovery. The position emphasizes team collaboration, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining professional development in accordance with the evolving healthcare landscape.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid California Registered Nurse (CA-RN) license; current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers; Bachelor`s of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred; at least 1 year of relevant experience; ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in ambulatory care and medical-surgical nursing; strong communication and teamwork skills; commitment to lifelong learning.
• Additional Information: This role involves creating a healing environment through patient-centered care, managing discomforts, providing emotional support, health education, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans. Emphasizes clinical judgment, emergency responsiveness, safety practices, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
