Job Summary:

The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) registered nurse is responsible for providing critical patient care within a hospital setting. This role involves delivering highly specialized nursing interventions, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes. The position is based in a clinical environment that demands dedication, quick decision-making, and a focus on patient safety and comfort.

Job Details:

  • Shift Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred. Valid California Registered Nurse (CA-RN) license. Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.
  • Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
  • Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: The Clinical Nurse in this role will perform hands-on, evidence-based patient care in accordance with hospital policies, standards of care, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include assessing patients, developing care plans, executing interventions, educating patients and families, and participating in quality improvement activities. The candidate must demonstrate effective communication and nursing leadership skills, with a commitment to lifelong learning and professional development. This position begins on 08/24/2026, with opportunities for ongoing education and teamwork development.
