Registered Nurse / Progressive Care Unit

Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Kokomo, Indiana. This role involves coordinating the care of patients in a 15-bed telemetry unit, which includes cardiac, stroke, and progressive care patients. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care on a night shift schedule.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, proficiency in cardiac rhythms and drips, and necessary qualifications including education and experience as required. No minimum experience is specified, but candidates should possess at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in telemetry, critical care, or progressive care units is preferred.
• Additional Information: This is a 15-bed unit staffed with registered nurses and patient care technicians. The unit features telemetry monitoring and cares for cardiac, stroke, and progressive care patients. The facility operates with 24/7 hospitalist coverage, emergency response, and respiratory therapy services.
