Job Summary:
Ambulatory Care Medical Surgical Nurse in Palo Alto, California. This position involves providing hands-on patient care within an ambulatory setting, practicing in accordance with evidence-based standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements. The Nurse collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: CA-RN (Registered Nurse) license, current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in ambulatory care and medical-surgical nursing preferred.
- Additional Information: The role requires the ability to quickly assess patient conditions, respond appropriately to emergent situations, and effectively communicate with patients and team members. The Nurse will participate in unit programs, contribute to team building, and maintain current knowledge of nursing practices through ongoing professional development.
