Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Floor

Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. This role involves providing patient care on a 44-bed unit specializing in adult trauma, orthopedic, and surgical care. The position offers flexibility to work various shifts, including days, nights, and mids, with scheduled weekly hours and weekend requirements.

Job Details

• Schedule: Shift hours are 12 hours per day, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification(s) as required by the facility; current state licensure as an RN; at least 2 years of related experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in trauma, orthopedic, or surgical nursing; ability to float to units with comparable patient populations; flexibility and friendly demeanor.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have complete and clear screenings prior to start, including Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, FBI Department of Aging Fingerprinting (or within the last two years), and Pennsylvania State Police Clearance. All fingerprints must be submitted and uploaded before clearance. Candidates must be willing to float to units with comparable patient populations as needed. Mandatory weekly orientation sessions occur on Mondays.
