Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Floor

Job Summary:
The medical-surgical nursing profession is seeking qualified candidates for a position at a rural critical access hospital in Washington. This role involves providing patient care on a med-surg tele unit, with a schedule consisting of night shifts working 12 hours each, totaling 36 hours per week. The schedule follows a unique pattern, spanning six days in a seven-day stretch from Wednesday to Wednesday, followed by seven days off. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a facility with a 13-bed med-surg unit, and prior experience with progressive care units (PCU) is preferred.

Job Details:

• Location: 603 South Chestnut Street, Ellensburg, Washington, 98926, United States
• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, working a pattern of six days on, then seven days off starting from 07/27/2026
• Required Qualifications: Certification(s), education, or degree requirements relevant to the role; location requirements; at least 1 year of experience in a medical-surgical or similar setting
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with progressive care units (PCU); ability to float to a six-bed critical care unit if needed
• Additional Information: The position supports staffing coverage within a rural healthcare facility. Candidates must be adaptable to the flexible schedule and capable of providing high-quality patient care in a critical access hospital setting.
