Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse - Johnstown, PA. This role involves providing urgent and comprehensive nursing care within a Level 1 Trauma Center emergency department. The position requires flexibility to accommodate varying shift times, with a focus on ensuring prompt and effective patient treatment in a high-acuity setting.

Job Details

• Schedule: Shifts vary, upon interview the director will inquire about the candidate`s shift preference.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); 0 years of experience minimum; location in or willing to commute to Johnstown, PA.
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma experience, critical care experience, Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN) preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Responsibilities: Provide emergency nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in a fast-paced trauma center, following hospital protocols and standards. Complete required screenings and clearances prior to start date.
• Additional Information: Orientation sessions are held weekly on Mondays. Candidates must have completed and uploaded all required Pennsylvania and FBI fingerprinting clearances before employment starts. Non-negotiable items include all Pennsylvania clearances and recent drug screens (within 90 days).
