Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Floor

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This position involves providing professional nursing care in a surgical unit within a healthcare organization. The nurse will deliver both routine and complex patient care, demonstrating independence and clinical competency while following established protocols and standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred; minimum of 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty; BLS certification from American Heart Association required; RN license in the state of New Mexico or a valid compact license
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The nurse will assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications and treatments, document clinical information, and provide education to patients and their families. The role requires practicing independently and effectively managing clinical contingencies, aligning with organizational and professional standards.
