Registered Nurse / Telemetry

Job Summary:
Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) position in Longview, Washington. This role involves floating between medical, cardiology, and surgical units to provide specialized patient care. The position is scheduled for day shifts, with responsibilities including managing adult patients requiring telemetry monitoring and interventions.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day Shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS); at least 2 years of relevant clinical experience; Washington state license or verified license application; experience with Epic electronic charting system; previous telemetry unit experience preferred; strong patient management skills in adult care settings.
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications such as CPI and NIHSS are advantageous.
• Float: Float rotation may be required within the healthcare providers system.
• Additional Information: The role requires managing adult patients with cardiac, neurological, and surgical needs, utilizing various medical systems including Pyxis medication system, and managing cardiac telemetry, IV placement, and complex patient assessments.
