Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse located in Jackson, MI. This position involves providing leadership in the coordination and delivery of high-quality, compassionate patient care within the surgical environment. The role requires utilizing the nursing processassessment, planning, implementation, and evaluationto deliver, delegate, supervise, and document surgical care and patient education. Effective communication of relevant patient and family information to the healthcare team is essential. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic surgical setting with a focus on trauma, neuro, and orthopedic procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 8 hours per shift, with minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
  • Excellent computer skills.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The successful candidate must have at least 2 years of circulating OR experience or trauma experience at level 2 or higher. Robotics experience is required, along with neuro and orthopedic trauma experience. Shift hours are from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM, with call responsibilitiesone call per week (9:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and every sixth weekend (Saturday/Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM). The position requires strong clinical knowledge, communication skills, and the ability to perform a wide range of professional nursing services in a surgical setting.
