Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Newburgh, Indiana. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a level II trauma unit with pediatric experience preferred. The position requires working 12-hour evening and night shifts, with various rotation and scheduling details. The RN will be responsible for managing a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment, following facility protocols and maintaining excellent clinical standards.

Job Details:

• Location: Newburgh, Indiana
• Schedule: 12-hour Evening/Night shifts from 3 p.m. to 3 a.m. and 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with the minimum hours per week set at 36 hours.
• Required Qualifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification, Indiana or Compact State License, at least 3 years of ER experience. Must pass 12-lead electrocardiogram (EKG) and dysrhythmia exams.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, with every other weekend and holiday rotation.
• Additional Information: This position involves working in a Level II Trauma ER setting with a focus on pediatric care when applicable. Resilient candidates with excellent change management skills and strong work ethic are preferred. The facility requires navy blue scrubs and adherence to COVID-19 vaccination policies, which are subject to change. Floating is not required, and on-call responsibilities are not included.
