Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Floor

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Nurse (MS) located in Missouri. This role involves providing high-quality care on a general surgical floor with a focus on orthopedic, stroke, cardiac, respiratory, dialysis, and hospice patients. The position requires floating between units and is suited for candidates with a minimum of one year of experience in a medical surgical setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications, education, and experience include 2+ years of medical-surgical nursing experience, current BLS certification, and licensure.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required between two medical surgical units.
• Additional Information: This role involves working on a 36-bed patient unit with patient ratios of 1:5-7, depending on acuity. Shifts include holiday work with potential blackout dates, and scrubs are to be royal blue. The facility utilizes electronic medical records with Cerner software.
