Registered Nurse / Operating Room Pediatrics Only

Job Summary
Operating Room Pediatric Nurse in Saint Petersburg, Florida. This position involves providing specialized nursing care for pediatric patients undergoing procedures in the operating room. The role requires adherence to facility guidelines, including shift and call requirements, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Schedule: Dayshift, with shifts of 10 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Epic electronic medical record experience preferred; no minimum years of experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Circulating case experience, scrub experience, and ability to respond to call within 30 minutes.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include supporting pediatric cardiovascular surgical procedures such as congenital open-heart surgeries, ECMO, heart transplants, and other complex cardiac interventions. Float to areas within skill set as needed, including thoracic cases. Previous employment within the Johns Hopkins system must be noted if applicable.
